1 Killed In Route 539 Tractor-Trailer Crash In Monmouth County
A 21-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries from the crash, according to New Jersey State Police.
UPPER FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 21-year-old woman was killed in a tractor-trailer crash on Wednesday morning, New Jersey State Police said.
According to NJ State Police Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron, Carla Rinconrumay, of Trenton, was driving an Acura sedan north on County Road 539 when the front of a Mack semi-trailer going south hit the right side of Rinconrumay’s car.
Both vehicles went off the road and down an embankment before hitting a utility pole, police said.

Tyler Combs, 25, of Allentown, sustained minor injuries from the crash. Rinconrumay sustained fatal injuries.
Police said the crash remains under investigation at this time.
