2 Men, 1 Youth Charged With Attempted Burglary: Freehold Twp. Police

Freehold Township police are asking the public to check home security video to aid in the investigation of an attempted burglary there.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — After the arrests of three people for attempted burglary in Freehold Township, police are asking the public to check video taken Wednesday morning on their home security cameras, police said.

Police Detective Lt. Joseph Winowski said two men and one juvenile were arrested Wednesday, charged with criminal attempt/burglary.

Police did not identify the suspects and they were released, pending a future court hearing.

Police did publish photos of the adults on its Facebook site as part of its investigation, Winowski said.

The department is requesting the assistance of the public in the Monmouth Heights neighborhood, asking them to review their Ring, Wyze, Blink, Arlo or any other surveillance systems.

Police are "attempting to gather as much footage of three male subjects that were arrested Wednesday for burglary-related offenses," the department said in the Facebook post.

The time frame for relevant video is April 5, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., police said.
