9/11 Remembrance Ceremonies Planned In Monmouth County
The ceremonies will honor those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — Towns and boroughs throughout Monmouth County will hold annual Day of Remembrance ceremonies on Wednesday to honor the lives lost in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Ceremonies are scheduled to take place throughout the day, with community leaders and residents in attendance.

Freehold Borough
Freehold Borough will hold its commemoration ceremony at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday. All are welcome to attend.
The ceremony will take place at the Freehold Borough Fire House located at 49 W. Main Street, Freehold.

Red Bank Borough
Red Bank will commemorate those lost in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.
The ceremony will take place at Riverside Gardens Park, and residents are invited to join community leaders, clergy members, students and more at the ceremony.
Riverside Gardens Park is located at W. Front Street, Red Bank.

Holmdel Township
While there will be no formal commemoration ceremony in Holmdel this year, roses and candles will be available all day to be placed on the Town Hall memorial in memory of those lost.
“This will be a time for individual remembrance and quiet reflection,” officials said.
The Town Hall memorial is located at 4 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel.

Manalapan Township
Join Manalapan Township on Wednesday for a candlelight ceremony to remember the lives lost in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. at the Manalapan Township 9/11 Memorial.
The Memorial is located in the Township Arboretum in front of Town Hall, 120 Freehold Road (Route 522).

Marlboro Township
Marlboro Township will hold its Patriot Day Ceremony at the Marlboro 9/11 Memorial on Wednesday.
The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. and is scheduled to end by 9:15 a.m.
The Marlboro 9/11 Memorial is located on Recreation Way off Wyncrest Road.

Shrewsbury Borough
Shrewsbury Borough will host its 9/11 commemoration ceremony on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The ceremony will take place in Shrewsbury Borough Hall and be in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
Shrewsbury Borough Hall is located at 419 Sycamore Ave., Shrewsbury.
