Borough Police Give 4-20 A New Meaning For Trio

An 18-year-old borough woman was arrested and charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana when Patrolman Diego Flores noticed a strange car in the parking lot of 177 South St. Wednesday afternoon, Lt. Michael Sweetman said.

Flores noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from the car. Sgt. Chris Otlowski investigated and saw in plain view a blue baggie with marijuana inside and a hollow pipe in an open purse in the car.

Also in the car were two teenage males, whose names were not released because of their age. One was charged with obstruction for interfering with the investigation, Sweetman said.

Both juveniles were released to parents after processing, Sweetman said.

The time of arrest was 4:20 p.m.
