Jersey Shore Couples Fight, Knife Pulled, Woman Punched: Police
Damian Pineyro and Keila Diaz were arrested after an Atlantic City fight sent a woman to the hospital, police said.
FREEHOLD, NJ — A couple from Freehold and Hazlet were arrested early Sunday morning after attacking another couple during a fight at a casino, sending a woman to the hospital, Atlantic City Police said.
Damian Pineyro, 35, of Hazlet has been charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and terroristic threats, police said.
Keila Diaz, 47, of Freehold, was charged with aggravated assault and simple assault, police said.

The couple was arrested at 2:56 a.m. on Sunday when police responded to the Quarter at Tropicana after receiving reports of a fight involving multiple people, police said.
Police learned that Pineyro harassed the man and woman for an unknown reason, and as they tried to leave, Pineyro punched the woman in the face.

After the woman fell to the ground, police said Pineyro started to assault the man, then pulled a knife on him and lunged at him but didn't make contact.
Diaz, meanwhile, kicked the woman and punched her in the head, according to police.
The woman lost consciousness as a result, police said, and was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division to be treated for her injury.
Pineyro and Diaz were both released on a summons with a future court date.
