Freehold Township High School’s Musical Talents Fill the Air with Holiday Cheer
Freehold Township High School's Concertino Ensemble will perform tomorrow, Dec. 21 at the First Presbyterian Church in Freehold.

The holiday season is well underway, and the musical talents of the filling the air with holiday cheer. On Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, the Freehold Township High School (FTHS) Concertino Ensemble will perform at the of Freehold, located at 118 West Main St., Freehold, at 7:30 p.m.
“This group represents the very best of our instrumental music program and produce a near-professional level performance,” said Instrumental Music Director, Edward Gattsek.
Speaking of a “near-professional level performance,” the Freehold Township High School Music Department’s performing ensembles earned a standing ovation at last Thursday’s holiday concert. The concert featured the FTHS Choir Ensemble and Mixed Chorus, conducted by Ms. Susan Conners and Symphonic Band, conducted by Mr. Edward Gattsek. FTHS twelfth grade student and horn soloist, Jennifer Lee is performing at the event.

Parents and community members left the school’s auditorium anxiously anticipating this week’s event at the First Presbyterian Church of Freehold.
“Last Thursday’s program was challenging, varied and festive. I am very proud of the efforts and performance of the students because they have risen to each new challenge presented to them. I hope that this upcoming performance adds to the holiday spirit of all who will perform and attend," Gattsek said.
