New Officers Hired For Freehold Township Police Department

Seven police officers recently hired for Freehold Township will begin Monmouth County Police Academy training this month.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — Seven new police officers are joining the Police Department, four of whom have previously served in the US Armed Forces.

All of the hires are residents of Freehold Township and they begin Police Academy training on April 24, said Detective Lt. Joseph Winowski.

After successful completion of the Police Academy, they will go through a four-month field training program before being assigned to a squad, he added.
