FREEHOLD, NJ —Officer James Nause was sworn in Monday night as a full-time patrolman, in a ceremony at the Borough Council meeting.

Nause started as a Class II Special Officer last April, assigned to the downtown area handling parking violations and downtown calls for service, Steppat said.
