New Hair Studio Provides Upscale Cuts and Colors to Patrons

Martin Dring, Artistic Director of Republic Hairstudio, is no stranger to the hair industry. After training in England, Dring has opened and worked at many different hair salons all over New Jersey. Continuously bringing his dedicated staff of 10 with him, Republic Hairstudio is different from other salons by providing upscale hair and make-up services, with separate colorists and stylists which have all been trained and approved by Dring.

“I have some girls who do color and some girls that cut,” explained Dring. “If you only specialize in one thing, you will continuously get better because you are just focusing on that.”

Another factor that separate Republic Hairstudio from other salons is that they take their name seriously.

“Since I am a hair-cutter and not a colorist, there are many things I do not know,” explained Dring. “But a Republic is not run by just one person, everyone has a say. Many of these girls have been with me for a long time so they all have a say in how we do things here.”

All work done at Republic Hairstudio is guaranteed by Dring who prides himself on a studio that does professional and courteous work, where no client leaves unhappy.

Within five weeks, Republic Haristudio transformed a vacant store front into a fully functional and welcoming salon. Through the same work ethic, determination, and passion, the staff and owners of Republic Hairstudio have already started to fill their chairs with dedicated clients, even though the studio hasn’t officially opened.

Republic Hairstudio will celebrate its Grand Opening on Saturday March 31 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The entire staff at Republic Hair Studio welcomes community members to come in and meet the master stylists and owner, while enjoying a champagne brunch.
