2021 2nd District Election: When, Where To Vote

The 2nd District Assembly and Senate races will be decided at the polls Tuesday. Here's what to know.

NEW JERSEY - When voters go to the polls Tuesday, among the races Atlantic County residents will be casting ballots in are the legislative races.

That includes the 2nd District, which includes Absecon, Atlantic City, Brigantine, Buena, Buena Vista, Egg Harbor City, Egg Harbor Township, Folsom, Hamilton (Atlantic), Linwood, Longport, Margate City, Mullica, Northfield, Pleasantville, Somers Point and Ventnor City.

The state Senate race features Democrat Vincent Mazzeo, who is being challenged by Republican Vincent Polistina.

In the race for the two Assembly seats, the Democratic candidates are incumbent John Armato and Caren Fitzpatrick; the Republicans are Don Guardian and Claire Swift.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Where Can I Vote?

Those looking for a drop box for vote-by-mail ballots can use any in Atlantic County. A total of 18 drop boxes are available in Atlantic County and their addresses can be found here.

The vote-by-mail ballots will be picked up daily and brought to the Board of Elections. All security measures will be followed when collecting and transporting the vote-by-mail ballots, officials said.
