Boardwalk 'Batman' Charged With Assault After Jersey Shore Brawl, Reports Say
The cosplaying Caped Crusader reportedly pepper-sprayed someone during a Boardwalk fight.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — A man known as "AC Batman" was charged with assault after apparently pepper-spraying another during a fight on the Atlantic City Boardwalk over the weekend, according to reports.
"Batman arrested in AC" reads the caption on a video shared via social media, showing the Caped Crusader in handcuffs on the Boardwalk.

During a fight Sunday night, the performer used mace against another man, temporarily blinding him, according to a report from NJ.com.

Court records show he was charged with third-degree aggravated assault, third-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and fourth-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
A friend of the Batman performer told BreakingAC that the other man had spit on him, and the cosplayer was defending himself.

He decided to take on the Batman persona in 2016 after moving to Atlantic City, according to a previous report from the Press of Atlantic City. He is often seen walking around the city and Boardwalk and is known for taking photos with tourists.
