Galloway Family Brings 'Warm & Fizzy' to Gardner's Basin
Candi, Heather and Samantha Howley craft and sell specialty bath products and fragrances.

Candi Howley and daughters Heather and Samantha took their family business from the kitchen table to a retail shop at Atlantic City’s Historic Gardner’s Basin this summer.
The business, ‘Warm & Fizzy,’ sells handcrafted, sulfate-free bath products, homemade incense, fragrances, dog shampoos and tutus.
“We added the children’s hand sanitizer and the tutus because there are so many kids who visit because of the Atlantic City Aquarium next door,” said Candi. “Some of our best-sellers are the bath bomb cupcakes, which look like real cupcakes.”

The business was started by Candi’s daughter Heather, who created homemade cupcake bath bombs in her kitchen. The bath bombs became so popular that friends and family encouraged her to take it to the next level. After a successful home business, the Howleys decided to locate at Historic Gardner’s Basin for the summer season.
Candi and Heather take turns at the shop while Samantha handles hospitality and marketing for the business. All three spend their ‘off hours’ at their Galloway Township home making products to sell at Warm & Fizzy.

Some of the more unusual products include incense sticks in flavors ranging from fruity and loopy to coffee, cotton, bacon and almond macaroon. There are also fizzy bath salts in Classic Buttercreme, sugar scrub in American Pie, and body spray fragrance in Beach Day.
Though it’s a relatively new business, the Howleys have already reached out to help area charities. Their promotion for the last week of July is donating 50 percent of proceeds from sales of ‘Warm & Fizzy’ pet shampoo to the Atlantic County Humane Society. A future fundraiser might help Lucy, the Guinness World Record Holder "Smallest Working Dog." The pet therapy dog and her owner travel to visit anyone in need, including the victims’ families in Newtown, CT. The fundraiser would raise gas money for Lucy and her owner, both of whom have made special appearances at Warm & Fizzy.
The Warm & Fizzy retail store is open during the summer season at Historic Gardner’s Basin. Products also will be available year-round. For more information, visit www.etsy.com/shop/warmandfizzy or www.facebook.com/warmandfizzy.
Candi, Heather and Samantha Howley reside in Galloway Township. Candi Howley works as a kindergarten assistant at the Reeds Road School in Galloway, N.J. She is an Atlantic City native.
