Grand jury indicts Michael Morrison on 19 counts of burglary and theft

A Galloway man has been indicted on charges accusing him of going on an automobile burglary spree in Stafford Township.

Michael S. Morrison, 18, of South Ash Avenue was indicted on 19 counts of burglary and theft after police said he broke into multiple vehicles Dec. 3 in Stafford and stole a variety of items.

Morrison is accused of breaking into a 2006 Hummer; a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am; a 2010 Chevy Suburban; a 2006 Mazda; a 2004 Porsche; a 2002 Honda; a 2001 Ford ESP; a 2005 Ford; and four unidentified vehicles.

Police said Morrison stole a Naivu GPS; a Wii game system; sunglasses and a GPS; two Magellan GPS units; a satellite radio and GPS and glasses.

He was initially held in the Ocean County Jail on $20,000 bail, but posted Dec. 20.
