Galloway Police Make Two Arrests on Gun Possession Charges

Traffic stops lead to July 22 and July 23 arrests on gun and drug charges.

Galloway Township Police made two separate arrests this week on gun possession charges.

At 1:40 a.m. Monday (July 22), police arrested Keith Goodman, 30, and Keith Kinsey, 24, both of New York City, after their vehicle was stopped at Duerer Street and Genoa Avenue, according to a news release from the Galloway Township Police Department.

Both men are fugitives wanted by authorities in New York, police said. Police found a stolen .40 caliber Taurus handgun and a small amount of suspected marijuana (less than 50 grams) in their search of the vehicle, according to the release.

Police said the handgun had previously been reported stolen out of Pennsylvania. Both Goodman and Kinsey are lodged in the Atlantic County Jail Facility in lieu of $100,000 cash bail each, pending their extradition back to New York.

At 4:12 a.m. Tuesday (July 23), Galloway police arrested Kenneth L. Brown Jr., 33, of Pleasantville, after a vehicle stop on the White Horse Pike at Xanthus Avenue. Brown was charged with unlawful possession of a .25 caliber Beretta handgun and possession and distribution of marijuana and prescription CDS, according to a news release from Galloway police.

Brown is lodged in the Atlantic County Jail on $25,000 cash bail.
