Galloway Today: Summer Carnival Resumes, Fireworks in A.C.

The summer carnival in Galloway Township was cancelled on Thursday night (August 1) due to rain but will continue on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Family Night with $20 wrist bands for unlimited rides now will be held on Friday (August 2).

The annual summer carnival is at the Municipal Complex on Jimmie Leeds Road 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The carnival includes rides, carnival games, popcorn, candy apples, cotton candy and more.

In nearby Atlantic City, Revel will celebrate its "Summer of Revelation" with a fireworks show at dusk on Friday, Aug. 2.

Fireworks by Grucci is performing again at Revel Casino Hotel for the third and final “Summer of Revelation” fireworks party event series.

The fireworks display will be over the beach in front of Revel Casino Hotel Beach and reflect off the resort’s glass exterior. The state-of-the-art fireworks program will be electronically fired from a computer generated script featuring magical Grucci choreography between the music and fireworks.
