Man Wanted For Atlantic City Murder Captured In Egg Harbor City
A 45-year-old man charged with murder in a fatal Atlantic City shooting last month was arrested on Monday morning, officials said.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — A 45-year-old man charged with murder in a fatal Atlantic City shooting last month was arrested on Monday morning, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said.
Umar Abdullah was taken into custody in Egg Harbor City by members of the U.S. Marshall’s Task Force, New Jersey State Police, Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office, Egg Harbor City Police Department and the ACPO Major Crimes Unit.
Abdullah has been on the run since authorities allege he shot Mark Wright on Oct. 10 around 4 a.m.

The prosecutor's office said Wright, 35, was found to have been the victim of a shooting at 28 S. Georgia Ave. Wright was pronounced dead at the scene.
Abdullah, also known as James Collins, James Coger III or nicknames “Munchie” and “O,” has been charged with first degree murder, first degree unlawful possession of a weapon and second degree certain persons not to possess a weapon.

NJ Advance Media reports that Abdullah has served two prior state prison terms after he was sentenced to seven years in prison for a 2010 conviction of aggravated assault. He also served another five year sentence starting in 2016 for unlawful possession of a handgun, according to the publication.
