HAMMONTON, NJ - A Hammonton man has been charged in connection with the alleged assault of two minors who he coached at Rockstar Cheer in Southampton, state police said.

Jonathan P. Ryker, 25, was charged with sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and aggravated criminal sexual contact following an eight month investigation led by the New Jersey State Police Troop “C” Criminal Investigation Office, Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Medford Township Police Department.

The charges stem from a report of explicit content that was sent from Ryker to a minor via social media, state police said. Over the course of the investigation, detectives identified one another victim who was also a student at Rockstar Cheer.

Ryker was lodged in Burlington County Jail pending a detention hearing, state police said.
