Atlantic City Police Investigate Hit-And-Run After 2 Cars Strike Pedestrian
Police are seeking the public's help in locating one of the two vehicles that fled after striking a 68-year-old woman in Atlantic City.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating one of the two vehicles that fled after striking a pedestrian in Atlantic City on Sunday.
A 68-year-old Galloway woman was hit by two vehicles just after 1:15 a.m. near the corner of Arkansas and Pacific Avenues, Atlantic City police said Wednesday.
An investigation found that one driver immediately fled the area, traveling northbound on Missouri Avenue toward Atlantic Avenue in the wrong direction of traffic, police said.

Authorities believe the vehicle is a blue or black 2013 or 2014 Subaru Legacy. The vehicle has damage to the front driver’s side headlight and possibly to the windshield, police said.
A second car then struck the woman while she was lying in the road, police said. The driver also fled the scene, but was later located in Millville.

The woman was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division with serious injuries, police said.
Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation. The investigation is being led by Officer Fitzroy Simpson.
