Raid at Cos Cob Ave. Home Leads to Drug Arrest

A Galloway Township man faces drug and firearms charges.

The execution of search warrants yesterday by the Atlantic County SWAT Team at two homes — one in Atlantic City, the other in Galloway Township —resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs, a handgun, and cash, and the arrest of a man for controlled dangerous substances (CDS) and firearms-related offenses.

On August 29, 2013, a collaborative narcotics investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit and the Galloway Township Police Department led to two simultaneously executed “no knock” search warrants at 302 East Cos Cob Avenue, Galloway Township, NJ, and 117 N. Congress Avenue, Atlantic City.

Seized were approximately 30 grams of crack cocaine, over 50 grams of marijuana, oxycodone, hydrocodone, a .38 caliber revolver, ammunition, scales and other drug paraphernalia, and over $1000 in cash.

Arrested was Antoine Robinson, age 39, of Galloway Township. Robinson was charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute (a 2nd degree crime), Possession of Cocaine (3rd degree crime), Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute (3rd degree), Possession of Marijuana (4th degree), and Possession of a defaced firearm (4th degree).

Municipal Court Judge Freed set bail at $500,000 full / cash / no 10%. Robinson was  lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
