UPDATE: Three Galloway Township Men Arrested After Drug Investigation

The month-long operation ends with arrests at a building on Colonial Court.

The Galloway Township Detective Bureau concluded a month-long investigation on Friday by arresting three men for drug and weapons offenses.

The Atlantic County Emergency Response Team executed two search warrants at a building on Colonial Court in the Club III development of the township early Friday morning. 

Arrested were Oscar Bernard, 39, and Raynece Young, 35, both of Galloway Township. They were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Bernard was lodged in the Atlantic County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. Young was released on a summons complaint pending a court appearance.

Wilbert DeBerry, 42, also of Galloway Township was charged with possession of a handgun (reportedly stolen out of Little Egg Harbor) and unlawful possession as well as possession of a sawed-off shotgun, possession of CDS (marijuana over 50 grams and Molly over 3 ounces). DeBerry was also charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense. DeBerry was lodged in the Atlantic County Jail in lieu of $300,000 bail.

Detectives Jason Kiamos and Bryan Casey were the arresting officers. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office assisted the investigation.
