Three Pets Perish In Galloway Apartment Complex Fire

Fire occurred on Snow Mass Court in the Ryan's Ridge development, police say

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Three pets died and two apartments were destroyed in a recent blaze at the Ryan's Ridge development, Detective Lt. Joseph J. Picardi said.

The fire on Snow Mass Court was already heavily involved when first responders arrived at 4:21 p.m. on June 8. The fire in one apartment was already spreading to another unit, so police checked for occupants and evacuated the complex, he said.

No injuries were reported, but three pets died in the fire. The fire was contained to two apartments, but both were left uninhabitable. A third apartment had minor damage, Picardi said.
