“Swimming is one of the best all-around exercises you can do,” said Julie Dods, vice president and general manager of Tilton Fitness. “It’s one of the few exercises that combines cardiovascular benefits with strengthening the core and upper body…and it does it with little or no stress on the joints. Everyone can become fitter and healthier through swimming.”

Both clubs are also offering Family Open Swim sessions. In Galloway, the Family Open Swims are on Fridays from 7-9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.  In Northfield they are Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
