Traffic Advisory: Cologne Avenue Work Postponed

The following information has been provided to Atlantic County by the South Jersey Transportation Authority regarding current projects that impact county roadways. These are Atlantic City Expressway bridge redecking projects.

Bridge 13 - Cologne Avenue over the Atlantic City Expressway, Hamilton Township

Cologne Avenue is anticipated to be restricted to one (1) lane at the Atlantic City Expressway Bridge. The work had been scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 7 AM to 4 PM and continue to Friday, August 16, 2013 — but the start of the project is now delayed and scheduled to begin the week of Aug. 19. Alternating traffic will be metered by contractor’s flaggers and likely continue in this traffic pattern weekdays for two weeks.
