​WATCH: Trump Plaza Casino Imploded In Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — The former Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino was imploded this morning and spectators watched it happen. The event will be live-streamed at 9 a.m., and you can watch it here (watch it here, below).

Attendees at the Bader Field public viewing site were allowed to watch from outside their cars, but had to remain next to their car and maintain space between other viewers, city officials said.

The field's gates were open at 7 a.m. and attendees had to pay $10 per car to enter. Small said the special event parking fee was required by a city ordinance.

The charity auction launched in December for the opportunity to press a demolition button was called off last month due to safety concerns by Carl Icahn, the owner of the building.

Small said Icahn replaced the auction's highest $175,000 bid to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City.
