Driver Hospitalized After 2-Bus Crash In South Jersey: Police
Five people were injured when two NJ TRANSIT buses collided in Camden County Thursday morning, according to police.
WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — A driver was hospitalized, and four passengers suffered minor injuries following a crash between two NJ TRANSIT buses in Camden County Thursday morning, according to police.
Mindy Eli, 53 of Turnersville, was injured when the bus she was driving crashed into the rear of a disabled bus that was on the White Horse Pike in Winslow Township early Thursday morning, according to Winslow Township police. Both buses were New Jersey TRANSIT buses.
Eli had to be extricated from the bus and flown to Cooper University Hospital according to police. Her condition was unknown Thursday morning.

There were four passengers on the bus Eli was driving from Lindenwold to Atlantic City at the time of the crash, police said. One of them was taken by ambulance to Virtua Hospital in Voorhees to be treated for minor injuries, police said.
The other three passengers had minor injuries and refused treatment, police said.

The crash happened between two New Jersey TRANSIT buses on the White Horse Pike in Winslow Township at about 6:15 a.m., according to a spokesperson for the mass transit system. One bus carrying six passengers crashed into the back of an unoccupied, disabled bus.
One bus was cleared to the roadside, but the other suffered heavy front-end damage, and was in the middle of the road, according to Fox 29.
The crash happened at about 6:15 a.m., according to a spokesperson for the mass transit system. All lanes of Route 30 were closed in both directions east of Spring Garden Road, but have since been reopened, according to Winslow Township police.
Winslow Township police are leading the investigation into the crash, with assistance from NJ TRANSIT police.
