Back To School: 2021-22 School Calendars In Gloucester Township
Parents in Gloucester Township can mark the first day of school coming later this summer.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Moorestown, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Gloucester Township K-8 and Black Horse Pike Regional public school districts.
The first day of school for students in the high school district is Sept. 7, while students in the K-8 district head back to the classroom Sept. 8.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Gloucester Township.

Both school districts have posted safe return to school plans ahead of the upcoming academic year. In plans posted online by both districts, students returning to school in the fall will have the option of wearing face coverings, although all students and staff who have not yet been vaccinated will be encouraged to do so.
Masks will be required for all passengers on school buses, in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) federal order.

Black Horse Pike Regional School District
- First Day: Sept. 7
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26 (double check if your district has the 24th off)
- Winter Break: Dec. 24-31
- Spring Break: April 15-22
- Last Day: June 15
Gloucester Township K-8 Public School District
- First Day: Sept. 8
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26 (double check if your district has the 24th off)
- Winter Break: Dec. 24 through Jan. 2
- Spring Break: April 15-19
- Last Day: June 15
