Black Horse Pike Regional Well-Represented at 'Best of Class of 2012' Event

Camden County will honor more than 200 soon-to-be-graduating high school seniors Wednesday night.

Nearly two dozen Black Horse Pike Regional School District students will be among those honored Wednesday night at Camden County's "Best of Class of 2012" event.

Twenty-one soon-to-graduate seniors from Highland, Timber Creek and Triton high schools will be recognized during the event to be held at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom at the Scottish Rite Auditorium, located at 315 White Horse Pike, Collingswood.

“The students are ‘unsung heroes’ chosen by their schools for taking pride in academic achievement and striving to do their best to improve themselves while helping others in the process,” Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said in a statement announcing the 14th class of the Camden County "Best of Class."

The Black Horse Pike Regional students are:

  • Highland - Chrisi Bush (Clementon), Thomas M. Shaw (Blackwood), Samantha Dimiano (Blackwood), Hakeem Byrd (Blackwood), Jacquilyn Green (Clementon) Johill Brown-Reynolds (Clementon) and Caitlin Emperador (Blackwood)
  • Timber Creek - Haley Washington (Erial), Brian Goldspiel (Erial), Jordan Crawley (Sicklerville), Quanzell Lambert (Sicklerville), Nicole Horgan (Erial), Michael Strauch (Erial) and Sonimi Halliday (Erial)
  • Triton - Xavier Colon (Bellmawr), Anthony Magnotta (Runnemede), Rebecca Pumphrey (Bellmawr), Karly Plefka (Magnolia), Rachael Stieg (Somerdale), Thomas M. Concannon Jr. (Runnemede) and James Sharp III (Runnemede)

There are also seven students from the Camden County Technical Schools-Gloucester Township Campus being recognized by the county as "Best of Class of 2012." They are: Quincy Fletcher (Camden), Briana Feliciano-Ruiz (Camden), Cody Sears (Bellmawr), Adan Lazo (Camden), Dimond Custus (Camden), Jalesha Register (Sicklerville) and Justin T. Guinto (Voorhees).

Black Horse Pike Regional School District graduations are scheduled for Thursday, June 14.
