Blackwood Couple Joins Occupy Philadelphia Protest

Marty and Linda Collins join the movement to protest corporations' and rich Americans' perceived control over the country.

A pair of Gloucester Township residents waited six decades to become political, and they picked as their debut a movement sweeping the country.

Marty and Linda Collins, of the Blackwood section, joined with protestors at Occupy Philadelphia yesterday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Occupy Philadelphia is an offshoot of the Occupy Wall Street protest, which has drawn thousands to New York.

Protestors on Wall Street, in Philadelphia and at locations nationwide say corporate greed is increasing the gap between the richest Americans and the remainder, and that corporations have undue influence over policies and politics.
