Driver Injured, Entrapped After Striking Parked Car In Gloucester Twp.: Police
Both vehicles were significantly damaged in the crash, which remains under investigation.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A driver was injured after their vehicle struck a parked car and overturned Saturday night in Gloucester Township, police said.
It happened around 10 p.m. on Station Avenue, near the intersection with West Front Street in the township's Glendora section, officials said.
The driver struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle along Station Avenue, police said. As a result, the moving vehicle overturned with the driver trapped inside.

First responders extricated the driver and brought them to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. Nobody else was in their vehicle, police said.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage.

A preliminary investigation determined the driver was traveling on Station Avenue toward Evesham Road during the crash, authorities said.
Police withheld the driver's identity, pending further investigation and notification of family members.
No charges were filed as of Sunday afternoon, but the crash remains under investigation.
Gloucester Township police did not say what caused the crash, but the department stated the following:
"The Gloucester Township Police Department reminds all motorists to stay alert, avoid distractions, and drive responsibly. Maintaining proper lane position, focusing on the road, and staying aware of parked vehicles are essential for preventing serious motor vehicle crashes. Safe driving protects everyone on the road."
Part of Station Avenue was closed for several hours as police investigated the scene.
