Last Chance to Get Ready for Bike Safety Rodeo

The second annual Gloucester Township Police Department bike safety event is Saturday.

It's your last chance to clear out the trunk to you car to make room for the kids' bikes.

It's also your last chance to locate the kids' elbow pads, knee pads and helmets.

The second annual Gloucester Township Police Department Bike Safety Rodeo will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gloucester Township Community Park.

Let's be honest—some of you have a ton of junk in your trunk. And, really, who wants to be emptying a trunk filled with kids' toys, a case of bottled water, the winter coat and the still-boxed computer desk you've yet to take inside the house let alone put together at 8-8:30 a.m. on a Saturday? Do it today!

The bike safety event provides an opportunity for bicyclists to practice and develop skills that will help them enjoy bicycling more and avoid typical crashes.
