The suspect, later identified as Stephon M. Bullock, entered the home through an unlocked door during the early-morning hours on May 8, authorities said.
Bullock entered a woman's bedroom while she was sleeping, jumped on top of her and held the victim down, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

He then placed a hand over the victim's mouth, sexually assaulted her and fled the scene, the agency said.
The suspect did not personally know the victim, according to Stratford police.
Police asked nearby residents to check their security-camera footage from that night. But ultimately, authorities identified Bullock as the suspect through DNA evidence.
The DNA was submitted for testing at a State Police lab, which came back with a match for Bullock on June 13.
Bullock, 32, was charged that day and arrested at his Hi-Nella apartment.
He was charged with aggravated sexual assault (first-degree), kidnapping (first-degree), burglary (first-degree), aggravated criminal sexual contact (third-degree) and criminal restraint (third-degree).
Bullock will remain jailed in the Camden County Correctional Facility as criminal proceedings play out.
He did not have an attorney listed in online court records on Thursday.
