New Restaurant Brings Poke Bowls To Gloucester Township
Poké Bros. recently opened a restaurant at 609 Berlin-Cross Keys Road in The Shoppes at Cross Keys.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — It’s sushi in a bowl. That’s the concept customers will be met with when they visit Poké Bros. in Gloucester Township.
Poké Bros. recently opened a restaurant at 609 Berlin-Cross Keys Road in The Shoppes at Cross Keys. It is the chain’s second location in New Jersey, after opening up shop in Secaucus.
Poké Bros. describes themselves as "healthy fast-casual dining, known for its innovative and nutritious 'sushi in a bowl' Asian fusion." Poké bowls usually consist of rice, sushi-style raw tuna or cooked chicken or tofu, plus vegetables and avocado, all seasoned with a dressing.

They opened in the midwest in 2016 after the founders went on a trip to California. On that trip, the founders were introduced to the Hawaiian staple.
“After some intense research and trial and error, the Poké Bros founders developed their own brand of poké bowl flavor they are proud to share and call their own,” the owners said on their website. “Modeling similar assembly line casual dining concepts, we developed a unique way to build your ‘sushi in a bowl’ and have fun doing so.”

They are now up to 55 locations in nine states in the east, midwest and south. They opened in Gloucester Township in August, according to 42 Freeway.
The bowls are all centered around fish or chicken, and customers have the option to build their own bowls. Customers can order online here. Check out images of some of the local options below.
