No Township Fireworks on the 4th, But Still Plenty to Do
Here's your guide for Gloucester Township activities this week.

There won't be any local Independence Day fireworks this week because of the pyrotechnics show at Gloucester Township Day last month.
But fear not, there will be plenty of fireworks in surrounding towns. Washington Township and Clementon will have shows on Wednesday at dusk. Winslow has a Journey Tribute band and other festivities before they blow up the sky on Thursday, on the Fourth, at Fort Halifax Park on Bay Street.
A new musical is playing at the Wedgewood Country Club on Friday and Saturday. It's called Warehouse.
"There’s darkness, there’s light, there’s laughter—it’s an emotional roller coaster of everything that goes on inside your head," according to a news release. Wedgewood is located in the 200 block of Hurfville Road in the Turnersville section of Washington Township. Tickets are available online.
The Blackwood Farmers Market can end your week on Saturday. It's located in historic downtown Blackwood in the parking lot next to the Blackwood Library and The Studio at Mainstage for The Performing Arts.
It offers farm fresh produce, local honey, fresh baked goods, wines from Monroeville winery, Italian breads, gourmet popcorn, handmade jewelry, organic produce and much more. There are "reasonably priced" toys at their Kids Korner, organizers say. Kids can also write a note and draw pictures which will be sent to U.S. troops overseas.
