School Supplies, Backpack Drive Underway In Gloucester Township
Gloucester Township police and Community Connections Outreach - Gloucester Township are teaming up to collect backpacks and school supplies.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township police and Community Connections Outreach - Gloucester Township are teaming up to collect backpacks and school supplies for those in need through Aug. 27, the police department announced.
Two collection boxes are set up. One is at the Gloucester Township Police Department’s watch desk at 1261 Chews Landing Road, and the other is at the Gloucester Township Department of Public Works, 1729 Erial Road.
The police department is collecting the items to hand over to Community Outreach, which will then distribute them to community members who are in need.

“We will be collecting new backpacks and school supplies such as folders, pens, pencils, erasers, notebooks, glue, highlighters, and crayons to be given to local students in need,” police said. “If you are in need of supplies, please contact Center For Family Services at 609-238-0685.”
