These Events Are Coming Up In Camden County This Weekend

Downtown Haddonfield’s Super Summer Sale returns to feature one-of-a-kind shopping and specials Thursday through Sunday. This annual one-of-a-kind shopping event is a treasure hunter’s dream and has become one of the most anticipated events in the Downtown. Heating up Haddonfield’s fine shops and boutiques will be exciting specials and discounts throughout the beautiful Downtown business district along Kings Highway and our charming side streets – which include Mechanic Street, Ellis Street, Tanner Street, Haddy Lane, Kings Court, and Haddon Avenue. Haddonfield Plays and Players perform “The Good Body” from Thursday through Saturday, 8 p.m. each night. Women’s issues regarding body image takes focus in this acclaimed play from Eve Ensler of the Vagina Monologues. Bring your favorite drink and enjoy some powerful performances. Join the Cherry Hill Public Librarians each week for a special story time at Croft Farm. Pop-Up Story Time in the Park is 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. The Philadelphia Ship Model Society in partnership with the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial is hosting Model Con 2021 aboard the Battleship on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. See lots of models of ships, planes, tanks and other military vehicles. On-site model makers will also be giving tips and building models aboard the Battleship. Model Con can be experienced with the purchase of a tour of the Battleship. The Haddonfield Food Tour offers tasty dishes of Haddonfield as you walk through the beautiful colonial streets of downtown and learn about its history. It's Shark Summer at Adventure Aquarium in Camden now through Sept. 6. The aquarium is home to the largest collection of sharks in the Northeast and the longest Shark Bridge in the world. Visitors will be surrounded by sharks inside Shark Tunnel. Look out for new friends like Pacific blacktip reef sharks, and familiar favorites — their Shark & Ray Encounters and Live Dive Shows are coming back.
