VIDEO: Union Valley School Blows 'Bubbles 4 Autism'

The school took part in Thursday's autism awareness program.

Union Valley Elementary School participated Thursday for the first time in Faces 4 Autism's ninth annual "Bubbles 4 Autism" program.

The organization was urging schools and businesses worldwide to help set a Guinness Book of World Records mark for most people simultaneously blowing bubbles, as part of Autism Awareness Month.

Nancy Sponagle, president of the Union Valley parent-teacher organization, brought "Bubbles 4 Autism" to the Sicklerville school—Highland and Erial Elementary were said to also be hosting "Bubbles" events. Her two sons, Matthew and Christopher, attend the school and are autistic. More than 500 students and staff members blew bubbles for one minute, from 1:15 to 1:16 p.m.
