Unquarantined: Check Out These Camden County Events

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — Here's a list of upcoming events in Camden County, courtesy of our friends at Visit South Jersey, the official Destination Marketing Organization for Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties, and the Outer Coast Plain Wine Region in South Jersey.

It’s Shark Summer at Adventure Aquarium in Camden now through Sept. 6. The aquarium is home to the largest collection of sharks in the Northeast and the longest Shark Bridge in the world. Visitors will be surrounded by sharks inside Shark Tunnel. Look out for new friends like Pacific blacktip reef sharks, and familiar favorites — their Shark & Ray Encounters and Live Dive Shows are coming back. The annual New Jersey Beer Festival aboard the Battleship New Jersey in Camden will take place on Saturday, July 24, noon to 5 p.m. The general session, $50 donation per adult, will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The VIP session, which gets guests aboard to enjoy samples an hour earlier than the public session, at noon, is a $75 donation. NJ Beer Festival guests get a Fire Power self-guided tour of the ship, but there will be no tours once guests sample beer. They’ll also have live music, food and more. Tickets can be purchased athttps://newjerseybeer.ticketleap.com/2021-battleship-beer-fest/ Must be age 21 or over to attend the Beer Festival. The Battleship will follow current NJ COVID guidelines at the time. Currently, all guests touring the Battleship must pass a health screening which includes a contactless temperature check, wear a face covering and practice social distancing of six feet. The Haddonfield Plays & Players perform “Indulgence Under The Stars” at 8 p.m. Friday night. It’s a night of Broadway standards brought to you by Broadway’s own Chris Newcomer and his friends.
