Haddon Avenue in Downtown Collingswood comes alive with the region’s hottest antique, classic and custom cars and motorcycles at Cruise Night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday night. Enter your vehicle to win one of the monthly prizes. Make an evening of it. On Haddon Avenue, stroll the line of cars and motorcycles to the sounds of live music. Enjoy shopping at their diverse businesses. Collingswood’s renowned restaurant row offers everything from burgers and pizza to gourmet dining – have dinner while in town. The Perkins Center for the Arts in Collingswood is hosting the Persephone Rising Exhibition now through July 16 at 30 Irvin Avenue in Collingswood. From darkness and uncertainty springs light and life through creativity. Like Persephone emerging from Hades toward spring; we rise from the challenges of this time, revealing here the very harvest of our hope renewed. Artists in this exhibit include Terri Amig, Penny Beck, Peg Belcastro, Grayce DeNoia Bochak, Kimberly Camp, Jacqueline Boyd, Chloe Pinero, Jacqueline Sandro Greenwell, Molly Sanger Carpenter, Margot Taylor, and Annelies Van Dommelen.
