Both Warren County Prosecutor's Office and the FBI have joined the investigation.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — An employee of Anderson Check Cashing was zip-tied during an armed robbery Saturday morning, according to Hackettstown police.
The armed robbery happened at Anderson Check Cashing on 270 Main St. between 8:45 and 9 a.m., Tynan explained in a news release. Two men — each shrouded with ski masks — entered into the store, ordering the employee to give them access to the safe. One of them pointed a gun at the employee.
“When the safe was opened, one suspected zip-tied the employee and the other suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money,” Tynan wrote in the news release.
