Cops: Burger King Employee Caught Drinking on the Job

Hackettstown resident allegedly threw bottle of alcohol into the dining area when confronted by a manager.

A Burger King employee threw a bottle of alcohol into the dining area when he was caught drinking in a break room Saturday night, Hackettstown Police said.

Isidoro Bravo-Tlapala, 27, of Hackettstown, was charged with disorderly conduct and consumption of alcohol in public.

According to Sgt. Darren Tynan, Bravo-Tlapala threw the bottle of alcohol into the dining area that shattered when it hit the floor after being confronted by a Burger King manager at about 8:45 p.m. Saturday.

Bravo-Tlapala left the restaurant and was later located by officers, Tynan said. He was arrested and released pending a court appearance.
