'Deck The House' In Hackettstown For The Holidays
Hackettstown's Recreation and BID are looking for the best decorated homes this holiday season. Find out here how to enter and to vote.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ β That magical time of year is here when Hackettstown Recreation and the Business Improvement District co-host the βDeck the House Contest.β
There are three categories of holiday home decoration themes being judged this year, with βClassical Holiday,β βAnimatedβ and βMost Modern,β among them, picked from every neighborhood.

The βDeck the Houseβ sections being judged in town include: Willow Grove, Centenary Area homes, West Valley View, Main Street, Kenwood, College View, East Prospect and the Historical District.

Decorations need to be up by Dec. 10, with judging happening Dec. 17 through Dec. 19, anytime between 6 and 9 p.m. these nights.
There will also be the βPeopleβs Choiceβ award, with residents encouraged to send in their favorite decorated houses to socialmedia@hackettstownbid.com by Dec. 19. Hackettstown BID says one vote only per person, with the voterβs name and the address of their favorite home in the email to the Hackettstown BID.

βPrizes and bragging rightsβ will be given to the winning homes picked, Hackettstown BID says.
