Sponsors Wanted for 8th Annual 'Hometown Holiday'

The town's annual business-community holiday celebration is coming, and businesses are being asked to pitch in for the effort.

Planning is well on its way for the 2013 version Hackettstown's unique holiday celebration and a search is on for business sponsors. The eighth annual Hackettstown Building Improvement District 'Hometown Holiday' begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6.

The event features lots of ho-ho-holiday fun. Mrs. Claus will be on the scene and there will also be crafts and treats at Centenary College's Grand Parlor in the Seay Administration Building and horse-drawn carriage rides in the evening.

The Main Street District will be host to musical groups, the Holiday Bazaar Shopping and Dining Tent, Santa Parade, Tree Lighting, Photos with Santa and a magically festive Holiday spirit.
