Hackettstown: Fall Cleanup 2020 Friday, Saturday

All of the junk you've been hoarding during the pandemic can be dumped this weekend.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - All of the junk you've been hoarding during the pandemic will be carted away this weekend as part of the annual fall cleanup.

Fall Clean Up will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Town of Hackettstown residents only. Proof of residency is required.

Household items only to be accepted; this does not include:

  • yard trimmings like grass, brush, branches
  • hazardous waste materials like propane tanks, tires, concrete, asphalt, paint
  • recyclable material

For disposal of these items at no cost, visit the website for Pollution Control Financing Authority of Warren County, www.pcfawc.com.

There is also no construction material such as:

  • shingles
  • sheet rock
  • lumber
  • tiles
  • fence/fence posts
  • siding
  • windows
  • doors

This includes any materials related to home renovation projects.

Anyone handicapped or 65 years or older who is unable to bring their clean up material to drop off can contact the Department of Public Works at 908-852-2320 to schedule a curbside pick up date.
