Hackettstown: Here Are 2021 Election Day Polling Locations

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — When voting in Hackettstown, here's the best way to find out how to cast your ballot, depending on whether you've opted for a mail-in or in-person voting method on Election Day.

Hackettstown voters may drop their ballots off early or up to the designated time on Election Day by mail, in a drop box or at the Warren County Board of Elections. If a resident would like to vote in the General Election in person, they will need to go to their designated polling location. However, in-person early voting is additionally an option for this election.

General Information About In-Person Early Voting
All registered voters in Warren County can vote early in person through Sunday, Oct. 31; and can head to the polls each day through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Oct. 31, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Deadline For Warren County Mail-In Voting
According to available information on the Warren County Clerk's Office website, all Hackettstown voters registered in the primary have until 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, to apply in-person for a mail-in ballot at the Clerk's Office located at 413 Second St. in Belvidere, open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

For Warren County Mail-In Voting By The Post Office, Drop Box Or County Board Of Elections
Warren County residents can also take advantage of New Jersey's early voting in the General Election, if they have already pre-registered for a mail-in ballot.

There are one of three ways which Warren County's mail-in ballots can be counted, according to the State of New Jersey's Division of Elections:

1. By regular mail via the United States Postal Service.
2. By depositing into a secure drop box within Warren County.
3. By dropping the ballot off in-person to the Warren County Board of Elections Office, no later than 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2, on the second floor at 202 Mansfield St. in Belvidere.

By Regular Mail: For residents who requested a mail-in ballot for the primary, to be counted, ballots must be postmarked no later than Tuesday, Nov. 2 and received by Monday, Nov. 8. There is no postage required if mailing in the United States.

By Secure Drop Box: For those who would prefer to use a Warren County secure drop box, monitored with 24/7 surveillance, rather than regular mail, they may take their mail-in ballot to a dropbox location. Click here on the county's website for dropbox locations, including one in front of Hackettstown's Municipal Building at 215 W. Stiger St.

Ballots won't be accepted in drop boxes after 8 p.m. on Nov. 2.

At the Warren County Board of Elections: Regular business hours at the Board of Elections Office in Belvidere are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, though ballots can be dropped off for the election up to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2. According to the state's website, voters who take ballots to the Board of Elections, must show a valid ID; and if dropping off for another person, must have already completed the bearer certification in the presence of the voter, whose ballot they are transporting.

To Vote In Person On Nov. 2 in Hackettstown
On the upcoming Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 2, the polls in Hackettstown open up at 6 a.m., then close at 8 p.m. According to information on the state's website and Warren County Clerk's Office, the following are the poll locations for Hackettstown residents, who would like to vote in person on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 2, between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., should go to the following locations:

• District 1 at Hackettstown High School Gymnasium at 701 Warren St.
• District 2 at Centenary College's Lackland Center on 715 Grand Ave.
• District 3 at the Moore St. Firehouse at 110 W. Moore St.
• District 4 and 7 at the Miller St. Firehouse at 201 Miller St.
• District 5 and 6 at Trinity House on 212 E. Moore St.
