HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - Hackettstown Police Department and the Hackettstown-Mansfield PBA Local 369 raised $2,400 through our “Beards In Blue” Fundraiser.

Hackettstown Police Officers put down their razors during November and grew facial hair to support The Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Atlantic Health System/Hackettstown Medical Center. In the last four years, they've raised over $10,000 for the Joan Knechel Cancer Center.

"Our anti-shave campaign was meant to raise cancer awareness and encourage people to live healthy lives and get regular medical checkups. Cancer research and treatments are very costly, and we wanted to lend as much help as possible to those who are fighting for a cure," officials said. "We would like to thank those who donated, and we look forward to participating and raising more funds next year."
