Curfew In Hackettstown Over Halloween Weekend If Under 18
Unless with an adult, anyone under 18 in Hackettstown has a curfew over the Halloween weekend and could be fined if they are found guilty.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The Hackettstown Police Department has announced “Halloween Curfew Hours” in effect in town over the weekend.
Each day throughout the upcoming weekend until Sunday, if a “juvenile” - anyone younger than 18 - is out in Hackettstown’s “public places,” without a parent or guardian after 10 p.m. on Friday and before 6 a.m. Saturday; and then on Saturday between 10 p.m. and into 6 a.m. on Sunday, they may be in violation of the town’s curfew, according to the Hackettstown Police Department.
A public place, the police department reports, could include the town's public streets, sidewalks, bridges, alleys, parks, recreational areas, in parking lots or in or near any public buildings.

The only exceptions would be if a person under 18 is traveling to or from work, dealing with a medical emergency in any capacity or is traveling from a religious or extracurricular school activity and that they’d participated in.
