Have You Seen Him? Alleged Car Thief Sought By Cops
William Pruden wanted for stealing Jeep in Hackettstown, which was later found in Mt. Olive, police report.

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Hackettstown Police are searching for a man they say stole someone’s car in February and left it abandoned in Morris County.
William E. Pruden is wanted for auto theft after taking a Jeep Wrangler from a resident on Lafayette Street on Feb. 6, Sgt. Darren Tynan said. A warrant was issued for his arrest the same day.
The vehicle was eventually located in Mount Olive Township and returned to its owner, but Pruden is yet to be located, Tynan said.

Pruden is described as a white male, 5’9”, 165 pounds, has hazel eyes and brown hair and is 34 years old. His last known address was on Kelley Place in Stanhope.
