Raul Herrera was known for always smiling and helping others.

It would be hard for one to make a trip to Hackettstown Regional Medical Center’s emergency room and not come across Raul Herrera, a longtime technician always jumping from room to room to make sure patients were properly treated.

The always-smiling Hackettstown resident died suddenly Saturday, Sept. 6, at the age of 49.
