Man Stabs Friend After Party Runs Out of Alcohol, Police Say
20-year-old Hackettstown resident faces assault and weapons charges.

A 20-year-old Hackettstown man was arrested for stabbing a friend Saturday afternoon when a party ran out of booze, police said.
Nelson Granados-Oviedo was charged with two counts of simple assault, aggravated assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and possession of a straight edge knife.
According to a release by Sgt. Darren Tynan, Granados-Oviedo, punched another man after the alcohol ran out of a party at the 100 block of Mountain Avenue.

A second man attempted to help the victim and was elbowed by Granados-Oviedo, who then left the house and returned with a knife and cut one of the victim's in the stomach, police said. The other man was stabbed in the foot, police said.
Police responded to the scene at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Both victims refused medical attention.

Granados-Oviedo was held at the Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail.
