Man Violently Shook Infant In Warren Co., Prosecutor Says

A Pennsylvania man is charged with injuring the 7-month-old baby by shaking.

WARREN COUNTY, NJ β€” A Pennsylvania man is accused of violently shaking an infant in Warren County, Prosecutor Richard T. Burke said.

Chris Miano-Wilburn, 26, from Center Valley, Pennsylvania, was arrested on Friday and charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child, Burke said. Miano-Wilburn allegedly violently shook the 7-month-old baby he was supposed to be caring for.

Burke said Miano-Wilburn's alleged actions showed "extreme indifference to the value of human life" and that the baby sustained serious bodily injuries. The type of injuries were not specified, nor was the town the alleged assault happened in. It's unclear exactly how Miano-Wilburn knew the child.
